Owns end-to-end Finance data products including pipelines, dashboards, and APIs for planning and forecasting. What You'll Do
- Own Finance-focused data products end to end, partnering with cross-functional teams to shape product strategy, set priorities, define requirements, and drive delivery.
- Build and maintain pipelines, datasets, dashboards, APIs, and frameworks that Finance teams rely on for planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Contribute to data management tools and services that power AI and BI across the company.
- Understand Finance stakeholders' workflows, translate needs into requirements and user stories, and build relationships across Finance, engineering, and technical teams.
- Keep the voice of the user central in prioritization and discovery, shape the roadmap for Finance-focused data products, and push for the right solutions.
- Own product backlog, break complex problems into increments, manage dependencies, support agile delivery, and make tradeoffs across business impact, technical feasibility, and timelines.
- Define success metrics and track adoption, usability, and business value; drive adoption through documentation, onboarding, rollouts, and change management.
- Partner with engineering and Finance teams to resolve issues and capture learnings.
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of product management experience with a focus on data products, platforms, analytics, or internal business systems, including at least one year at a modern, high-growth company.
- Direct experience partnering with Finance stakeholders on planning, forecasting, or reporting workflows.
- Solid foundation in data, analytics, and technical product management, with ability to work with engineering on technical details while focusing on user value and business outcomes.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms and scalable architecture concepts such as lakehouse or medallion models.
- Experience working with sensitive financial data, including SOX-related processes, with sound judgment on balancing controls with execution speed.
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, with ability to give clear visibility into product direction, progress, and risk.
- Comfortable operating with guidance from senior product and data leaders while independently owning area and driving work forward with high accountability.
