Senior Value Engineer - Technology Consultant

Responsibilities

• Drive the full customer lifecycle across pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
• Lead technical discovery and capability demonstrations during pre-sales expansion cycles.
• Guide implementation and ensure agreed value and adoption thresholds are met.
• Drive enterprise-wide ROI and adoption programs through QBRs, strategic roadmaps, executive sponsorship, and value plans.
• Establish repeatable frameworks for customers to independently track, realize, and expand business value.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for the customer’s industry domain.
• Understand customer AI strategies and challenges, identify problem-solution fit, and translate requirements into measurable solutions.
• Plan and manage project scope, expectations, timelines, and multiple projects across aligned accounts.
• Leverage partners from the company ecosystem where appropriate.
• Lead technical whiteboarding sessions, formal readouts, and demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in pre-sales, customer success, consulting, strategy consulting, business process improvement, digital transformation, or customer value realization.
• Strong technical skills across Microsoft or equivalent technologies such as AWS, including relevant certifications.
• Knowledge of data connections, data objects, data validation, and data analysis.
• Knowledge and use of large language models, including tools such as Claude or Copilot.
• Understanding of basic prompting and data constructs within prompts.
• Experience with value-driven selling, use-case prioritization, improvement measures, operating models, and customer training.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of business processes across sectors such as supply chain or finance.
• Ability to translate high-level business needs into specific AI use cases.
• Knowledge of Python and machine-learning libraries such as LangChain, pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
• Experience with data engineering tools and technologies.
• Hands-on experience building agentic systems using LLM orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, function calling, and prompt engineering.
• Experience implementing safety measures through evaluations and guardrails.
