This customer-facing technical leader guides enterprise prospects and customers through Temporal evaluations, architecture, implementation, and production adoption. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary customer-facing technical leader for enterprise prospects and customers in the Central region.
- Guide customers through technical evaluations, architecture decisions, implementation considerations, and adoption or expansion of Temporal in production.
- Partner with Account Executives and Platform Architects on new-business and expansion account plans.
- Present, whiteboard, and write clearly for technical and business audiences.
- Build application prototypes and provide design, development, build, and deployment guidance using supported languages.
- Advise on distributed systems, application patterns, platform architecture, and production operations.
- Address security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operational considerations.
- Advise Sales Account Executives, scope opportunities, identify technical risks, and navigate complex evaluations.
- Travel 25–50%.
Requirements
- Reside in Dallas, Texas, United States.
- Strong technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems technologies, design principles, and best practices.
- Proficiency with one or more of Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and enterprise application and infrastructure services.
- Experience serving as a strategic technical advisor to sales teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in FinTech and/or financial services.
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $140,000–$183,750.
