Leads customer-facing architecture engagements for Databricks’ Data Intelligence Platform across communications, media, entertainment, and gaming. Responsibilities
- Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in an assigned territory.
- Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use-case prioritization and building technical champions.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
- Act as an expert solutions architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Contribute to technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Travel up to 30% when needed.
Requirements
- 7+ years of presales or customer-facing technical experience.
- Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and technical pre-sales lifecycles.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams toward long-term customer success.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language and willingness to learn a foundational level of Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms.
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
Compensation
- Local pay range: $139,700–$247,300 USD.
- Total compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
