Responsibilities
- Take ownership over a large portion of one of our products and own projects end-to-end (wearing hats traditionally worn by product and design).
- Research competitors, write product specs, make wireframes, and more.
Examples of past product engineering work:
- Designed and built automated interview scheduling feature that solves “Calendar Tetris” by calculating possible times from interviewers and constraints.
- Built generalized declarative filter architecture for complex filters compiling to SQL in backend.
- Spec'd, designed, and implemented feature for completing offer signing entirely within Ashby, including customer research and prototyping.

- Tackle any part of the technology stack: frontend, backend, infrastructure as needed.
- Thrive on projects with product and technical ambiguity, building powerful abstractions.
- Balance speed and quality with urgency.
