Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision and strategy for GitLab’s end-to-end software factory experience.
  • Bring together planning, specification, coding, review, and verification workflows into a cohesive product experience.
  • Partner with product, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams across GitLab to align priorities and execution.
  • Identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities across GitLab Duo Agent Platform and related GitLab product areas.
  • Use strong product and design judgment to make complex workflows clear and useful for customers.
  • Build support for product decisions through clear communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Present product direction, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior and executive leaders.
  • Help shape how GitLab brings its software factory vision to market.

Requirements

  • Product management experience at principal scope, leading complex products or experiences across multiple teams.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end software development workflow, from planning through verification.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence products, developer tools, DevSecOps platforms, or related technical products.
  • Technical judgment that supports effective collaboration with engineering teams and informed product decisions.
  • Strong product design and user experience instincts, including the ability to connect separate capabilities into a coherent experience.
  • Experience influencing across functions, resolving competing priorities, and moving work forward without direct authority.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills, including experience working with senior and executive leaders.
  • Ownership mindset and ability to make progress in a fast-changing product area with ambiguity.
