Responsibilities
- Define and own positioning and messaging for Temporal’s AI use cases across AI-native startups, AI labs, and enterprise customers.
- Develop value propositions for AI workflows, agents, LLM orchestration, human-in-the-loop systems, and long-running AI processes.
- Lead competitive intelligence covering AI infrastructure, orchestration, workflow engines, and adjacent platforms.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions using market and customer insights.
- Plan and execute product launches, announcements, and go-to-market strategies for AI capabilities and use cases.
- Create external content, including web pages, blog posts, solution briefs, case studies, presentations, and sales enablement materials.
- Enable sales and solutions teams with messaging, pitch narratives, and objection handling for AI-driven deals.
- Coordinate with demand generation, developer relations, and communications teams to maintain consistent AI positioning.
- Serve as an internal subject-matter expert on AI market trends, customer needs, and buyer personas.
- Measure and improve messaging and go-to-market effectiveness using customer feedback and market response.
Requirements
- Senior product marketing experience owning end-to-end marketing for complex, technical products.
- Deep familiarity with AI, machine learning, or data platforms, particularly in developer-facing or infrastructure contexts.
- Experience marketing to technical audiences such as developers, platform teams, and architects.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, differentiated messaging.
- Strong storytelling skills for technical and business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence product direction and go-to-market strategy at a senior level.
- Experience collaborating closely with product, engineering, and sales leadership.
- Comfortable working independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Detail-oriented execution with the ability to think at the market and systems level.
