Deal Desk & Commercial Services Manager
Leads end-to-end commercial deal approval, pricing governance, and contract lifecycle management across customer segments. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, Salesforce and CPQ expertise, strong financial acumen, and cross-functional partnership with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product.

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end deal approval for Broker, Carrier, and Shipper segments, including pricing, product configuration, and business terms.
- Establish SLA-based approval turnaround times and report deal desk metrics such as request volume, exception rate, and compliance rate.
- Build and maintain the Delegation of Authority (DOA) framework for standard deals and escalations.
- Serve as the primary contact for deal-related questions, escalations, and disputes.
- Replace the standalone DocuSign contracting process by integrating contract execution with Salesforce and NetSuite.
- Redesign Self Sign-Up and Enterprise contract workflows according to deal complexity.
- Maintain auditable records of deal approvals and contract actions.
- Partner with Legal and Finance on renewals, amendments, offboarding, contract structuring, and lifecycle management.
- Analyze underperforming signed accounts and develop corrective action plans.
- Provide pricing and deal-performance analytics, process recommendations, and maintain deal-approval and pricing-governance SOPs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in deal desk, pricing strategy, revenue operations, or contract management, including ownership of deal approval and pricing governance.
- Experience building or managing a Delegation of Authority or deal-approval framework.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and CPQ tools.
- Experience partnering with Legal and Finance on contract structuring.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools and processes.
- Strong financial acumen, including pricing and margin analysis.
- Excellent stakeholder-management skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in freight, logistics, two-sided marketplaces, or data businesses.
- Experience establishing a Deal Desk or Commercial Desk from scratch.
- Exposure to usage-based or consumption-based pricing models.
- Prior people-management experience.

- Annual salary range: $120,000-$170,000 for Oregon-based candidates.
