Founding Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) | Healthcare

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and operations to design and build user-facing features and internal tools.
• Own the development and launch of new products, working directly with clients to gather feedback and iterate quickly.
• Build intuitive, high-quality front-end experiences for complex workflows with a strong focus on usability.
• Make key backend design decisions, including API design, data modeling, and service architecture.
• Develop modular, reusable components and systems to support scalability, maintainability, and engineering velocity.
• Contribute to building the team's technical culture through best practices, code quality, and thoughtful architecture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building production software, including both frontend and backend work.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Affinity for good UX and passion for good UX experiences.
• Experience building, maintaining, and monitoring APIs.
• Embodies a startup mentality, demonstrates ownership, and effectively balances high-quality output with a keen sense of urgency.
• Great at solving problems with little guidance and has a strong bias for action.
• Willingness to work in person at our office 5 days a week.

Nice to Have

• 2+ years of Python experience.
• AWS experience.
• Experience working with Relational databases.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $230,000 - $270,000.
