Responsibilities
- Ingest and normalize heterogeneous public records into the identity graph, owning the pipeline from ingestion through normalization, storage, and API delivery.
- Build and maintain entity-resolution and record-linking systems across businesses and people with inconsistent identifiers, names, and addresses.
- Design and ship customer-facing APIs for search, lookup, monitoring, and webhook delivery.
- Own Postgres schema design and zero-downtime migrations for a continuously available database.
- Optimize query patterns, ingestion pipelines, and API latency as volume and graph depth grow.
- Build multi-tenancy and data-layer access control scoped by organization, user, and permission.
Requirements
- Experience shipping production product features end-to-end from ingestion and storage through API and customer use.
- Experience owning a Postgres schema supporting real money or business-critical decisions.
- Strong async Python and experience running asynchronous services at scale.
- Deep Postgres expertise, including schema design under live load,
EXPLAIN ANALYZE, and zero-downtime migration tooling. - Experience with FastAPI or a close equivalent, including authentication dependencies, OpenAPI contracts, and structured response models.
- Experience building multi-tenant APIs with correctly scoped, data-layer access control.
Nice-to-haves
- Entity resolution, record linkage, or fuzzy matching at scale.
- Search infrastructure using full-text, fuzzy, or vector search with Postgres as the system of record.
- KYC, KYB, fraud, underwriting, or related data-pipeline experience.
- Address parsing and normalization at country scale.
- Webhook delivery infrastructure, including retries, signing, idempotency, and ordering guarantees.
- Google Cloud experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Tasks, Cloud SQL, and batch pipelines.
Compensation and Benefits
- $230,000–$340,000 salary plus equity.
