Technical lead responsible for the architecture, development, and technical direction of patient-facing mobile and web products. The role requires consumer or healthcare product experience, cross-stack capability, and strength in mentoring and product collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction and mobile development strategy for patient-facing applications.
- Prototype and ship features across patient mobile and web apps in collaboration with product and design.
- Help shape product direction for patient engagement and retention during the first month of care.
- Engage directly with patients and partner with product, design, and clinical teams to translate needs into features.
- Mentor junior engineers and raise engineering standards across the team.
- Define architecture patterns, technical standards, and development practices for patient-facing products.
Requirements
- Deep experience building and shipping consumer or patient-facing mobile, web, or both types of products.
- Experience serving as a technical lead, setting architecture direction, and mentoring engineers.
- Comfortable working across the full stack in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Strong focus on building high-quality user experiences.
- Familiarity with LLM coding agents and using AI tools to increase engineering impact.
- Collaborative approach with product and design teams.
Nice-to-haves
- React Native or other cross-platform mobile development experience.
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, or other high-trust consumer domains.
- Experience with engagement, retention, or onboarding flows.
- Prior AI/ML or agent-based systems experience.

- Base salary: $220,000–$260,000 annually.
