Senior software engineer responsible for architecting and shipping full-stack, AI-powered government technology using the Palantir stack. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years of engineering experience, and strong React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL expertise.

Responsibilities
- Architect and ship full-stack features end-to-end, from scoping and technical design through production.
- Build and integrate with the Palantir stack, including Foundry ontologies and pipelines, AIP agents, and Maven Smart System workflows.
- Develop AI-powered product surfaces such as intelligent intake flows, constituent assistants, automated case routing, and agency operator dashboards.
- Work within classification and data-handling constraints.
- Set technical direction, improve code quality, and establish reusable engineering patterns.
- Engage federal agency stakeholders to translate requirements into shippable products.
- Own platform reliability and performance at government scale.
- Mentor engineers through code review, pairing, and technical feedback.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
- United States citizenship.
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience owning complex features and systems.
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, AIP, or Maven Smart System.
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
- Evidence of building and owning a real product, open-source project, or system.
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments.
- Strong user-centered orientation.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience shipping software in classified or accredited environments.
- Forward Deployed Engineer experience or Palantir integration experience.
- Federal, state, or local government technology experience.
- Experience in regulated or high-stakes environments.
- Cloud deployment experience with AWS, Vercel, GitHub Actions, or ECS/Fargate.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries.
- Experience leading technical work in an early-stage environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $220,000–$280,000.
