About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own trust, security, and incident communications, proactively telling the story of how Lovable thinks about security, privacy, reliability, and platform safety
  • Serve as the comms lead during product incidents, managing external response alongside the Head of Communications
  • Lead product launch communications and earned media strategy, including Substacks, podcasts, and new media channels
  • Work with product marketing to shape positioning, develop press materials, pitch stories, and ensure launches land effectively
  • Build a repeatable launch engine that moves as fast as the product team
  • Develop relationships with earned media and creators by getting the product into their hands so journalists and technical writers can build on Lovable firsthand
  • Develop spokesperson platforms for CTO, CISO, and senior product/engineering leaders; prep them for media, conferences, and podcasts
  • Own product-level partner integration communications and coordinate with product marketing and partnerships
  • Build relationships with analysts, tech media, and technical influencers to ensure Lovable shows up in the right conversations and reports
  • Ensure product news reaches Substacks, podcasts, technical creators, and communities beyond traditional media

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in communications, including product launches and trust or incident communications at a technology company
  • Technically fluent with the ability to understand how software products work architecturally and translate engineering decisions for reporters and analysts
  • Experience running product comms at a fast-moving technology company with the ability to build systems that keep pace with rapid product development
  • Real trust and incident comms experience working on or alongside security, privacy, or trust and safety teams
  • Strong media relationships in the tech and AI ecosystem with knowledge of reporters, podcasters, and analysts covering AI, developer tools, and enterprise technology
  • Clear, concise, and technically precise writing that remains human and accessible
  • Hands-on, agile, low-ego approach with comfort working across time zones
