Own end-to-end recruiting pipelines and candidate experiences for interns, new graduates, and early-career engineering hires across EMEA. Responsibilities
Own the pipeline and candidate experience
- Own the end-to-end candidate lifecycle for assigned schools, functions, or programs across EMEA, from sourcing and screening through offer and conversion.
- Deliver a high-touch, consistent candidate experience across outreach, interviews, events, internship hosting, and offers.
- Maintain funnel momentum, diagnose issues early, and unblock the pipeline weekly.
Build the employer brand
- Represent Datadog as an employer for emerging talent across university campuses and virtual channels in EMEA.
- Own university and student organization relationships and represent Datadog on campus.
- Plan and execute recruiting events, career fairs, hackathons, information sessions, and other engagements.
- Develop an understanding of partner schools and organizations and connect it to recruiting goals.
Drive inclusive hiring
- Build inclusive sourcing and engagement strategies and track representation across the funnel.
- Identify where diverse candidates drop off and improve outcomes across outreach, interviews, and closing.
Use data and innovate
- Track conversion, offer acceptance, and funnel health metrics and use them to improve recruiting practices.
- Use AI-enabled tools to summarize data, identify trends, and reduce manual work while validating outputs.
- Bring insights and recommendations to hiring partners.
- Test engagement formats, sourcing strategies, and event formats; measure results and share learnings.
- Apply a Start, Stop, Continue review after each recruiting cycle.
Requirements
Recruiter
- 1–3 years of experience in campus, university, or early-career recruiting.
- Experience building and managing a candidate pipeline end-to-end.
- Strong communication skills and confidence representing the company to students, hiring managers, and university partners.
- Comfort with data and tracking recruiting metrics to improve performance.
- Strong organization and adaptability while managing multiple events, timelines, and candidates.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Willingness to travel to campuses across Europe.
Senior Recruiter
- 3–5+ years of experience in campus or early-career recruiting.
- Experience owning complex or high-priority school relationships and programs.
- Experience shaping strategy, influencing hiring partners with data, and improving pipeline or inclusion outcomes.
- Experience advising senior stakeholders and holding hiring teams accountable to shared goals.
- Experience mentoring or coaching other recruiters.
Nice to Have
- Additional European languages.
