Event Marketer
The Event Marketer will lead Cognition’s in-person event experiences from concept through onsite execution, managing conferences, sponsorships, vendors, budgets, and executive programs. The role requires 3–5 years of event marketing experience, strong operational discipline, CRM proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities
- Manage Cognition’s presence at priority industry conferences and sponsorship activations, including booth design, experiential elements, and attendee engagement strategy.
- Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to develop event collateral, messaging, and follow-up assets.
- Own the full logistical lifecycle of events, including vendor negotiations, budget management, contracts, staffing, and scheduling.
- Create pre- and post-event communications, including “Know Before You Go” guides, staff and speaker training, and structured follow-up outreach.
- Partner with Field Marketing to engage the GTM team and monitor leads, pipeline contribution, meetings booked, and audience engagement.
- Create repeatable frameworks, playbooks, and reference materials for a growing events calendar.
- Serve as the primary contact for agencies, suppliers, and venue teams.
- Attend events in person to manage logistics and ensure smooth execution.
- Use stakeholder feedback and post-event reviews to improve the events function.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of event marketing experience at a company known for high-impact events and executive programs, or at a premium experiential agency with demanding production standards and large budgets.
- Proven ability to run end-to-end events, including planning, logistics, vendor management, run-of-show creation, and onsite execution under pressure.
- Experience managing events for 10 to 1,000+ attendees.
- Experience supporting senior audiences, including C-level executives, VPs of Engineering, and CTOs.
- Experience partnering with sales and GTM teams to drive business outcomes.
- Strong organizational rigor, attention to detail, and a high quality bar.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and HubSpot.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
