Director, Marketing Strategy and AI Transformation

Leads global marketing planning, investment allocation, capacity modeling, and AI-driven workflow transformation. The role requires deep B2B SaaS or enterprise technology experience, hands-on agent workflow expertise, and the ability to drive sustained adoption across a large matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end annual marketing planning process and establish a single planning system of record with explicit trade-offs.
  • Evaluate leading indicators and business outcomes to identify performance drivers and scale best practices across global business units.
  • Build and maintain a marketing capacity model spanning employees, agencies, and agent-based execution.
  • Oversee development of high-leverage marketing workflows for agent execution to improve time-to-market.
  • Align marketing investment strategy with strategic bets, products, and programs while improving pipeline efficiency.
  • Drive marketing target setting with Marketing, Finance, and Sales Strategy using a transparent, agile methodology.
  • Drive adoption of AI agents across the global marketing organization and establish standards for prompts, context, and agent workflows.
  • Establish AI governance and guardrails covering quality, risk, data privacy, and responsible use.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team from the ground up.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in marketing strategy, marketing planning, marketing operations, or GTM/revenue operations in a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
  • Experience owning an annual planning or investment allocation cycle at scale.
  • Hands-on experience redesigning workflows around AI, including building agent workflows, writing and iterating prompts, and structuring context.
  • Demonstrated success driving sustained behavior change across a large, matrixed organization.
  • Expertise across demand generation, campaign operations, content production, field and events, brand, and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing measurement and the connection between marketing investment, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Familiarity with enterprise marketing technology stacks, including marketing automation, CRM, CDP, orchestration, and business intelligence.
  • Familiarity with modern agent frameworks and MCP-based integrations.

Compensation

  • Base salary range varies by location zone: $177,400–$244,000 USD (Zone 4), $188,600–$259,250 USD (Zone 3), $199,700–$274,550 USD (Zone 2), or $221,800–$305,050 USD (Zone 1).
  • Total compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
