Responsibilities
Growth & Business Development
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to identify, scope, and win new engagements, shaping RFPs, proposals, statements of work, and value-based pricing.
- Convert one-off projects into durable, multi-year partnerships by spotting adjacent opportunities.
- Act as a thought partner to senior leadership on packaging, pricing, and positioning solution offerings.
Customer-Facing Partnerships
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders (VPs of Revenue Cycle, Managed Care, CFOs) at hospitals and health systems.
- Frame ambiguous problems and translate them into structured, data-driven engagements across strategic pricing, payer contracting, charge capture, CDI, and net revenue improvement initiatives.
- Own engagements end-to-end: scoping, work planning, execution, and delivery, accountable for measurable client outcomes.
- Lead with expert subject matter and analytical methodology; pull and analyze price transparency, contracts, claims, and reimbursement data.
- Synthesize findings into executive-ready narratives; present insights to influence decisions on pricing, contracting, and payer negotiations.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Customer Success to align outcomes with broader account relationships.
- Work with Solutions Engineering to source, structure, and validate novel datasets.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations on contracting, economics, and compliance.
- Feed insights back to Product to surface needs, define requirements for productization, and improve scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution required; MBA/MPH strongly preferred.
- 8+ years in RCM-focused management consulting, digital health, or provider-side revenue cycle strategy & operations.
- Track record of owning senior client relationships and delivering measurable financial impact.
- Deep command of the revenue cycle end-to-end (patient access, coding, charge capture, CDI, billing, claims, denials, payer contracting/negotiations) and connection to net revenue.
- Ability to build and deliver executive-level presentations, distilling complex analyses into board-ready narratives for C-suite.
- Comfortable adopting AI tools to work faster; forward-leaning on technology.
- Strong grasp of reimbursement mechanics and payment methodology across care settings.
- Genuine technical fluency: comfortable pulling and manipulating data in SQL, building analyses, and resolving data discrepancies.
- Structured, hypothesis-driven problem solver who can decompose ambiguity and form/revise points of view.
- Proven ability to build consensus and drive decisions among senior stakeholders.
