About the job

Responsibilities

Growth & Business Development

  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to identify, scope, and win new engagements, shaping RFPs, proposals, statements of work, and value-based pricing.
  • Convert one-off projects into durable, multi-year partnerships by spotting adjacent opportunities.
  • Act as a thought partner to senior leadership on packaging, pricing, and positioning solution offerings.

Customer-Facing Partnerships

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders (VPs of Revenue Cycle, Managed Care, CFOs) at hospitals and health systems.
  • Frame ambiguous problems and translate them into structured, data-driven engagements across strategic pricing, payer contracting, charge capture, CDI, and net revenue improvement initiatives.
  • Own engagements end-to-end: scoping, work planning, execution, and delivery, accountable for measurable client outcomes.
  • Lead with expert subject matter and analytical methodology; pull and analyze price transparency, contracts, claims, and reimbursement data.
  • Synthesize findings into executive-ready narratives; present insights to influence decisions on pricing, contracting, and payer negotiations.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Customer Success to align outcomes with broader account relationships.
  • Work with Solutions Engineering to source, structure, and validate novel datasets.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations on contracting, economics, and compliance.
  • Feed insights back to Product to surface needs, define requirements for productization, and improve scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution required; MBA/MPH strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years in RCM-focused management consulting, digital health, or provider-side revenue cycle strategy & operations.
  • Track record of owning senior client relationships and delivering measurable financial impact.
  • Deep command of the revenue cycle end-to-end (patient access, coding, charge capture, CDI, billing, claims, denials, payer contracting/negotiations) and connection to net revenue.
  • Ability to build and deliver executive-level presentations, distilling complex analyses into board-ready narratives for C-suite.
  • Comfortable adopting AI tools to work faster; forward-leaning on technology.
  • Strong grasp of reimbursement mechanics and payment methodology across care settings.
  • Genuine technical fluency: comfortable pulling and manipulating data in SQL, building analyses, and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Structured, hypothesis-driven problem solver who can decompose ambiguity and form/revise points of view.
  • Proven ability to build consensus and drive decisions among senior stakeholders.
