Responsibilities
- Develop the strategy for product opportunities pursued through partnerships, including competitive analysis, market sizing, and partner diligence.
- Make build-versus-partner recommendations with cross-functional input.
- Present partnership opportunities to leadership, covering market size, risk, competitive dynamics, and execution implications across servicing, legal and compliance, technology, revenue and costs, and product interactions.
- Represent OnePay to external partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations, partner selection, and contract negotiations.
- Work cross-functionally to protect OnePay’s interests and establish partnerships for long-term success.
Requirements
- Experience operating as a 0-to-1 owner in a fast-paced environment and driving initiatives end-to-end.
- Track record of driving financial results through strategy and/or partnerships.
- Fintech experience and understanding of financial services.
- Experience negotiating and closing large strategic partnership deals.
- Strategy or business operations background supporting senior leadership decisions.
- Excellent communication and executive presence with senior leaders and partners.
- Strategic judgment when weighing long- and short-term tradeoffs.
- Proactivity and strong execution.
Compensation and Benefits
- $160,000–$180,000 base salary.
