What you'll do
- Research and build critical strategic partnerships across the security ecosystem, working closely with internal teams to shape what we pursue and why.
- Serve as Anthropic's internal voice on security partnerships, helping research, product, and leadership understand the landscape, evaluate opportunities, and make decisions.
- Map the sector, prioritize the highest-impact organizations, build a pipeline, and sequence engagements with a clear point of view on focus areas.
- Drive partnerships through R&D, IT, legal, compliance, and procurement processes.
- Enable product or platform integrations where relevant, working with partner engineering teams and maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate cross-functionally across research, product, engineering, policy, and legal teams to structure compliant, deliverable, and valuable partnerships.
What we're looking for
Non-negotiable:
- Minimum 10 years of experience inside the security industry in partnerships, BD, alliances, product partnerships, or comparable roles.
- Deep ecosystem familiarity across SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, identity, cloud/workload security, GRC, or AI-native security startups.
- Track record landing complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships such as integration deals, ecosystem programs, or major vendor partnerships in security.
- Entrepreneurial operating style.
- Technical fluency in security workflows and AI/ML to engage credibly with CISOs, security architects, and product leaders.
- Fluency in the regulatory and compliance environment for enterprise security (SOC 2, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, sectoral regs).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, comfort working with technical research and product teams, and ability to translate across business, engineering, and policy.
Nice to have:
- Experience building or operating an ecosystem program or developer/community function in security.
- An existing network across SIEM, EDR, identity, cloud security, and the AI-native security startup cohort.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field.
Compensation: Annual salary $240,000–$300,000 USD.
