Responsibilities
- Develop go-to-market strategies and plans to drive awareness, demand, and adoption of Postgres managed by ClickHouse.
- Create messaging, positioning, and value propositions that differentiate the offering in the market.
- Produce marketing collateral, including website content, blog posts, presentations, and internal enablement materials.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather market insights and understand customer needs.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities and inform product and marketing strategies.
- Evaluate and iterate on strategy using metrics and stakeholder feedback; track efficacy and make data-driven recommendations.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in product marketing, product management, or a technical role.
- Experience with Postgres or another OLTP database.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Analytical mindset and ability to use data and metrics to measure performance and inform decisions.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multiple priority workstreams and deadlines.
- Effective collaboration across functions and organizational levels.
- Deep understanding of databases, particularly OLTP and OLAP.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience marketing database, data infrastructure, or developer-tools products.
- Familiarity with the Postgres ecosystem.
- Experience at a startup or fast-moving environment.
- Fluency in SQL.
