Customer Marketing Manager

Build and own customer marketing and advocacy programs from the ground up at BioRender. Produce case studies, run customer events and lifecycle campaigns, engage in communities, and turn users into champions to drive adoption, retention, and expansion.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Own case study production end to end, from identifying strong customer stories, to interviewing customers, to writing and publishing polished, publication-ready assets.
  • Build BioRender's customer advocacy program from scratch, including testimonials, review generation, and a pipeline of customers ready to speak, write, or appear on our behalf.
  • Partner with Field Marketing and Product Marketing to run customer-facing events and programming, such as customer panels, roundtables, and community moments that deepen customer relationships and serve as references for new business.
  • Execute customer lifecycle campaigns across email and in-app channels, partnering with Growth and CS to drive adoption, retention, and expansion.
  • Represent BioRender in public online communities such as Reddit, engaging authentically with scientists and researchers, and helping shape how our brand shows up in these spaces.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, CS, Product, and Data teams to source customer insights and translate them into marketing assets and programs.
  • Take on high-impact generalist marketing projects as they arise.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in customer marketing or customer success at a B2B SaaS company, with a track record of managing full projects independently.
  • Expertise in building and nurturing relationships with high value customers.
  • Experience writing emails to customers to drive revenue goals.
  • Excellent written communication and storytelling skills; you can distill complex, technical customer feedback into a compelling narrative.
  • A proven ability to manage your own workload across multiple concurrent projects, take initiative, and problem-solve within existing guidelines.
  • Strong collaborator who communicates clearly across teams and can influence peers and stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Comfortable using data to prioritize your work and report on program results.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in life sciences or experience marketing to researchers, PIs, or academic audiences.
