Lead Deployment Architect - AI

Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Support Services scoping in pre-sales and align Services with proposed Celonis solution architecture.
• Design end-to-end Celonis architectures for complex enterprise deployments across process areas, business units, and geographies.
• Define technical blueprints integrating the Celonis platform with customer systems, data strategies, and transformation goals.
• Design secure, scalable architectures optimized for long-term growth and high concurrency.
• Make build-versus-configure, custom-versus-standard, and phased-versus-big-bang trade-off decisions tied to customer outcomes.
• Own solution quality across engagements through design reviews and architectural standards.

AI Orchestration & Delivery Innovation

• Design workflows for AI deployment agents, including validation checkpoints and quality gates.
• Develop reusable specifications, templates, and patterns for AI-augmented delivery.
• Pioneer delivery approaches that use AI to improve timelines, quality, and use-case feasibility.
• Set standards for validating AI outputs.

Customer Strategy & Advisory

• Advise strategic customers and build relationships with VP- and C-level stakeholders.
• Translate business challenges into Celonis strategies, high-impact use cases, and success metrics.
• Provide technical credibility in complex pre-sales opportunities and shape project scope.
• Guide customers through Process Intelligence maturity, AI readiness, platform expansion, and organizational change.
• Maintain expert-to-expert alignment with customer data, intelligence, and transformation leaders.

Implementation & Practice Development

• Partner with Deployment Engineers on complex and cutting-edge customer use cases.
• Implement early-stage Celonis products and provide feedback to Product and Engineering.
• Review solution blueprints for quality, scalability, and production readiness.
• Develop expertise in process domains or industry verticals and create reusable solution patterns.
• Contribute to hiring, interviews, internal enablement, documentation, and community-of-practice leadership.
• Feed customer insights into platform development and roadmap planning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, or delivery leadership within enterprise software, consulting firms, or system integrators.
• At least 3 years in a senior or lead technical role with multi-stakeholder responsibility on large-scale projects.
• Proven ability to design complex solutions spanning data integration, process intelligence, automation, and AI.
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture patterns and trade-offs.
• Expert-level knowledge of the Celonis platform.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with digital twin implementations, global AI transformations, or near-real-time data pipelines.
• Deep expertise in a process domain such as Supply Chain, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, or IT Service Management.
• Experience working with large enterprise customers and tier-1 organizations.
