Responsibilities
- Design and scale Go-based microservices that manage the lifecycle of multimodal AI generations.
- Optimize ConnectRPC services and asynchronous processing pipelines using Kafka and SQS for long-running, resource-intensive inference tasks.
- Develop backend logic for multimodal orchestration and creative-generation workflows.
- Use AWS to manage high-volume data throughput and integrate with high-performance storage and compute clusters.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to turn model outputs into polished creator experiences.
Requirements
- Extensive experience building and scaling Go services in high-traffic, high-volume SaaS environments.
- Proven ability to design distributed microservices using asynchronous processing with Kafka and SQS.
- Experience with low-latency communication technologies such as gRPC, ConnectRPC, or GraphQL.
- Deep knowledge of AWS, including EKS, S3, and Lambda.
- Experience managing complex compute environments.
- Background building professional-grade creative tools or media-heavy applications.
- Commitment to code reviews, testing strategies, and observability.
Nice to Have
- Experience handling varied media types, including video transcoding, audio synthesis, or vector manipulation.
- Experience with model serving at scale or GPU-accelerated workloads.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and helping define product vision.
