Software Engineer

Build production software primitives, domain models, integrations, and agent infrastructure for AI data-center projects. The role requires strong abstraction and domain-modeling skills, experience with unstructured data, and fluency with modern AI coding tools.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Build core software primitives end to end, including entity ownership, audit, authorization, and orchestration.
  • Own and evolve domain models representing power, data centers, and chips as composable entities.
  • Integrate with vendor systems and ingest domain-specific formats such as KMZ, BIM, Revit, and vendor documentation.
  • Make AI agents first-class operators by providing tools, guardrails, authorization, and audit trails.
  • Develop production code that supports workflows across infrastructure delivery and project scheduling.

Requirements

  • Comfort working through ambiguity and rapidly learning unfamiliar domains.
  • Strong judgment in abstraction and rigorous domain modeling.
  • Experience transforming messy, unstructured data into usable systems or outputs through ML, data engineering, or research.
  • Fluency with AI tooling, including LLM APIs, MCP servers, and agentic frameworks.
  • Daily experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools.
  • Experience shipping production code that other people depend on.
  • Ability to work effectively in multiple programming languages.

Nice-to-haves

  • Machine learning engineering, particularly extraction and synthesis from unstructured data.
  • Workflow or orchestration engines such as Temporal, Cadence, or Airflow.
  • Geospatial technologies, including KMZ or GIS.
  • BIM technologies, including Revit or IFC.
  • Authorization and policy engines such as OPA and Zanzibar-style systems.
  • Audit or event-sourcing systems.
  • Go, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Total compensation includes salary and equity; equity may be provided as restricted stock units.
  • Retirement or pension plan in line with local norms.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Generous paid time off.
