Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product strategy, metrics, customer propositions, growth, engagement, and business performance for personal banking.
- Lead products spanning personal money management, banking, savings, investments, money movement, and future lending.
- Set a high bar for consumer product craft, including copy, latency, empty states, reliability, correctness, and support outcomes.
- Drive meaningful use of AI in consumer products.
- Recruit, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing product management organization; establish operating cadence, build discipline, pace, and quality.
- Own acquisition, activation, retention, growth loops, and connections between personal banking and Mercury’s existing business offerings.
- Align product, engineering, design, data, risk, compliance, legal, marketing, support, and partners around a cohesive strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years building consumer products, including ownership of product growth and economics.
- 5+ years leading product managers, including hiring, coaching, organizational design, and performance management.
- Experience building products used by millions of consumers and demonstrating the decisions that drove adoption.
- Experience shipping AI-led products to real consumers.
- Experience launching and scaling 0-to-1 products while operating large products with active customers.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership across engineering, design, data, risk, compliance, and external partners.
- Strong customer-centered, data-driven, experimentation-oriented product approach.
- Sound judgment operating in regulated environments and balancing customer experience with banking controls.

Compensation
- US employees: base salary of $289,700–$362,100 USD.
- Canadian employees: base salary of $273,800–$342,200 CAD.
- Total rewards include base salary, equity, and benefits.
