Responsibilities
- Coach, manage, and develop a team of 30–100 associates with training and support from site leadership.
- Communicate policies, maintain compliance and consistency, and take corrective action when needed.
- Create and support recognition programs.
- Support safety programs and OSHA compliance, building security, and product loss prevention.
- Own performance reporting for receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, and packing quality.
- Set SLA expectations and provide performance reports and action plans.
- Troubleshoot fulfillment problems with cross-functional partners and serve as an escalation point.
- Identify root causes of inventory-accuracy gaps and defect-rate trends.
- Contribute learnings and best practices to standard operating procedures.
- Help prioritize systemic problems with Growth and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed within the last 12 months or expected within the next few months.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through campus organizations, athletics, ROTC/military, student government, internships, or part-time or summer jobs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn processes quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy, including Google Sheets or Excel.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative, personable approach and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to work any permanent shift, including overnights, holidays, and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, stand, and walk for 10–12 hours.
- Ability to work in variable noise and temperature conditions and on secure mezzanines up to 40 feet high where applicable.
Nice to Have
- Coursework, internships, or part-time experience in warehousing, fulfillment, supply chain, or logistics.
- Exposure to SQL or other reporting and data tools.
- Experience collaborating with external partners or vendors.
