Engineering Manager leading squads building Datadog's Experimentation App. Own delivery, technical direction, and team growth for full-stack/frontend engineers while partnering with statisticians, PMs, and customers to ship features in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of strong full-stack and frontend engineers. Help them grow to the next level and continuously provide them opportunities to develop.
- Own delivery for the Experimentation App from planning through production, balancing speed with quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Set technical direction in partnership with your team and our statistics engineers, engaging credibly on architecture and tradeoffs.
- Partner with Product, Design, and customers directly to shape requirements and turn customer and sales input into roadmap.
- Foster a culture of fast iteration and high engineering standards through code reviews, design reviews, and blameless postmortems.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top-tier talent as the team scales.
Who You Are
- 2-3 years experience as a people manager, or as a technical leader with strong mentorship skills. Ideally you have experience in career development, performance management, tracking and optimizing team velocity, and hiring.
- 5+ years experience building and shipping software, with a strong technical background that lets you engage credibly on architecture and tradeoffs even if you are no longer writing most of the code.
- Experience shipping products in a fast-paced environment, comfortable balancing speed with quality and making decisions with customer input as a primary signal.
- You are energized by ambiguity and a large roadmap, and you can help your team prioritize and sequence work to deliver consistently.
- Strong stakeholder management skills. You use empathy, collaboration, and clear communication to work with engineers and non-technical partners alike.
