What You’ll Do
Strategic Partnership
- Serve as the primary HR advisor to senior leaders across Finance, Legal, People, and Security & IT functions
- Translate business objectives into actionable people strategies, including organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development
- Advise on org structure, team effectiveness, and leadership development to support G&A scaling
- Partner with executives on headcount planning and HC allocation to align talent resources with business priorities
Talent & Performance
- Drive talent review and talent development processes across supported organizations
- Coach and develop leaders at all levels, from ICs to managers to VPs, on people management, feedback, and performance
- Lead and support performance management cycles, including calibration facilitation and compensation review
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to build thoughtful hiring strategies and ensure strong candidate experiences
Culture & Employee Experience
- Champion Vercel's culture and values, ensuring they're embedded in the day-to-day experience across G&A
- Identify and act on signals from engagement surveys, stay interviews, and team health check-ins
- Design and facilitate team offsites, workshops, and other programming that foster connection and alignment
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Navigate complex employee relations matters with sound judgment, empathy, and confidentiality
- Ensure consistent and equitable application of HR policies, providing guidance to managers and employees alike
- Partner with Legal on compliance, employment law guidance, and risk mitigation across global jurisdictions
Operational Excellence
- Analyze and interpret people data and trends to inform recommendations and drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to and improve core People programs, onboarding, L&D, DEI, total rewards communication, within your client groups
- Collaborate across the broader People team on cross-functional initiatives and process improvements
About You
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HRBP or HR generalist role supporting corporate / G&A functions
- Experience operating in a fast-scaling, global tech company; startup or high-growth background strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build trust with senior executives and operate as a genuine business partner, not just an HR service provider
- Deep expertise in organizational design, performance management, talent planning, and employee relations
- Strong analytical skills; you use data to tell stories, identify trends, and inform decisions
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, and executive presence; equally comfortable in a 1:1 coaching session and presenting to a leadership team
- Comfortable with ambiguity; you create structure where none exists and thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Experience with tools such as Workday, Greenhouse, and Notion highly preferred
