Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering
Leads and scales a high-performing Solution Engineering organization, coaching teams and partnering with sales, customers, and technology partners on strategic technical wins. The role requires technical expertise in identity security and cybersecurity, strong business acumen, and experience managing technical sales talent.

Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of Solution Engineers, driving career development, performance management, and continuous skill enablement.
- Support and coach Solution Engineers as they partner with Account Executives to discover customer pain points, develop opportunities, and secure technical wins.
- Partner with senior customer technical leaders on strategic opportunities to articulate platform value and secure technical buying decisions.
- Build relationships with partner technical sales leaders and establish the company as their preferred identity security standard.
- Partner with Area Sales Directors to design, execute, and scale go-to-market strategies that exceed regional booking targets.
- Align with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and peer Solution Engineering managers to share best practices, track market trends, and support organizational scaling.
- Present on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cybersecurity topics at company events and industry conferences.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations on workforce planning, budget alignment, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Act as an ambassador between the field and headquarters, funneling customer feedback and product requirements to Product and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- Proven track record managing and scaling high-performing Solution Engineering or Sales Engineering teams.
- Experience attracting, recruiting, and onboarding technical sales talent in a high-growth environment.
- Ability to blend technical excellence with business acumen and value-selling methodologies to achieve and exceed business targets.
- Experience establishing and maintaining trust-based relationships with technical stakeholders at customer and partner organizations.
- Deep hands-on technical expertise and ability to lead architectural discussions across a complex, highly technical product portfolio.
Nice to Have
- Technical expertise in security or identity, including Workforce Identity, CIAM, PAM, ISPM, Federation/SSO, Active Directory, LDAP, or API-first security.
- Understanding of competitor offerings in IAM, IGA, and cybersecurity markets.

- Annual on-target compensation (OTE): £163,000–£220,000 GBP.
