Technical Executive Communications, Senior Manager

Owns the external communications and technical storytelling for two company founders, spanning social media, long-form writing, media, and executive speaking preparation. Requires developer-focused content experience, strong technical fluency, and the ability to preserve distinct executive voices.

Responsibilities

  • Own the external voice and day-to-day social presence of the co-founder and CEO and co-founder and CTO.
  • Draft social posts, reactions, and short-form takes in each founder’s distinct voice for developer audiences.
  • Ghostwrite essays, bylines, technical posts, and other long-form content from voice memos or rough concepts.
  • Build narratives, talk tracks, and supporting materials for keynotes, customer meetings, fireside chats, and briefings.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on technical storytelling and positioning, and run executive speaking preparation.
  • Collaborate with Media Relations to translate the founders’ perspectives into accurate, credible press coverage.
  • Gather substance and positioning from across the company to inform executive communications.
  • Travel for frequent in-person collaboration.

Requirements

  • Background in developer relations, technical communications, or technical product marketing.
  • Experience creating technical content that developers read and respect.
  • Experience running social media for a company, founder, or executive.
  • Experience writing as or for a technical voice, with the ability to preserve an individual’s authentic speaking style.
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to engage credibly with engineers.
  • Independent point of view, initiative, and a strong backlog of content ideas.
  • Familiarity with AI, infrastructure, and developer culture.
  • Ability to move quickly and work effectively with two founders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with durable execution, workflow orchestration, or distributed systems.
