Responsibilities
- Write scripts and voiceovers for technical YouTube videos covering AI tools, automation workflows, APIs, and in-depth product tests.
- Run hands-on tests and experiments to validate claims and document results.
- Record voiceovers for technical videos explaining APIs, workflows, and emerging AI concepts.
- Monitor the AI and marketing-tool landscape and identify relevant trends, launches, and audience needs.
- Pitch video ideas based on market trends, audience questions, and content gaps.
- Collaborate with video editors and producers to refine scripts for visual storytelling and editing.
- Use AI assistants and tools to accelerate research, build small demos, and clarify technical details.
Requirements
- Ability to explain technical concepts such as APIs, automation, and AI models clearly without being an engineer.
- Previous video writing experience and understanding of pacing, hooks, and scripts’ relationship to editing.
- Self-directed approach with the ability to identify market developments and propose ideas.
- Comfort running tests and demos, signing up for tools, executing workflows, and documenting results.
- Working knowledge of AI tools for building small applications, streamlining research, or creating demos.
- Ability to work autonomously and make decisions about tone, depth, and structure.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience creating content about SEO, marketing tools, or SaaS products.
- Familiarity with scripting or light coding, including understanding API calls and task automation.
- Portfolio of technical explainer videos, tutorials, or demos scripted or produced.
