Specialist Solutions Architect, Data

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert on Stripe Data products, including data pipelines and export, revenue and reconciliation reporting, and analytics tooling.
• Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to accelerate opportunities and drive pipeline and revenue targets.
• Architect solutions connecting Stripe Data capabilities with customers’ analytics and finance requirements.
• Discover and assess customers’ data architectures, warehouses, reporting stacks, BI tools, and ERP/GL systems.
• Advise on multi-entity and multi-currency reporting, custom data models, data freshness, and integrations with Looker, Tableau, Sigma, Metabase, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and Databricks.
• Create reusable assets, reference architectures, and best practices for sales and pre-sales teams; coach colleagues on complex opportunities.
• Lead solution strategy and key customer relationships for large enterprise opportunities.
• Serve as the voice of the customer, influencing product and feature prioritization and the Data product roadmap.
• Identify product, industry, implementation, and competitive trends and provide actionable insights.
• Escalate complex technical issues and work with engineering teams toward resolution.
• Represent technical business health on sales forecast calls and identify deal blockers.
• Support executive briefings, conferences, user groups, trade shows, and other marketing events.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions architecture focused on data platforms, analytics, or financial reporting.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with data warehousing, pipeline architecture, and ETL/ELT tooling.
• Strong understanding of payments and revenue data mapping to financial reporting and reconciliation workflows.
• Experience implementing or working with BI and analytics platforms.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering and API integration patterns.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with business partners and work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience integrating Stripe or other RESTful APIs into data pipelines or web applications.
• Familiarity with multi-entity consolidation, revenue recognition data models, or usage-based billing data.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working directly in customer data warehouses during discovery.
• Subject matter expertise in financial services, fintech, data, or analytics.
• Enterprise pre-sales experience.
