Staff Software Engineer, Security Platform

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop platforms for the Security Platform Engineering organization.
• Provide technical structure to teams and collaborate with management and stakeholders on strategic roadmaps.
• Build critical services using Golang and Java.
• Design scalable systems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Mentor and train team members on design techniques and coding standards.
• Define a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems and the teams operating them.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into quarterly roadmaps.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code; debug complex technical problems; and improve deployment, operations, and diagnostics.
• Review feature designs and cross-cutting projects, owning security, safety, scale, operational integrity, and architectural clarity.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture.
• Strong system design and coding skills.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Compensation

• Annual base salary: ₹9,424,500 INR.
• Additional compensation may include equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits.
