Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, customer-focused features for the core MDM platform.
- Work with product managers to build product roadmaps with clear goals and KPIs.
- Drive feature design and development while providing technical leadership.
- Work across QA, DevOps, and documentation teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Present designs for new initiatives to a global architecture forum.
- Champion engineering excellence through improved code coverage, coding guidelines, and review processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead projects with engineering teams.
- Address ambiguity in complex problems and demonstrate bias for action.
- Shape the architecture of the assigned work area and broader product with architects.
- Partner with PM, QA, and documentation teams on testing strategy, deployment, and feature documentation.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in computer science or a related field.
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, software design, and large distributed systems.
- 8+ years of experience designing and developing products for enterprise customers.
- 4+ years of experience building large-scale distributed data systems using Java and cloud technologies.
- Proven ability to take functionality from conception through delivery and engage customers and partners to drive adoption and satisfaction.
- Experience leading engineering projects and providing technical mentorship.
- Experience building services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including hands-on experience with managed cloud databases.
Nice to Have
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
- Experience with queue services such as Amazon SQS.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with big data technologies.
- Experience driving customer focus for SaaS products.
