Responsibilities
- Drive profitable acquisition of paid subscribers for DuckDuckGo subscriptions.
- Plan, execute, test, optimize, and analyze high-priority marketing campaigns.
- Support strategy and planning for paid advertising initiatives.
- Launch new ad-channel tests and measure incremental lift.
- Execute in-market tests for creative and messaging.
- Optimize paid subscriber conversion and scale subscriber growth profitably against LTV and payback.
- Partner with Engineering and Product to build and optimize landing pages, funnels, product experiences, and instrumentation.
- Create and execute a new marketing program for paid subscriptions.
- Work across business strategy and marketing tactics on complex, ambiguous projects.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in digital advertising roles.
- Experience with strategic planning and hands-on execution across app store ads, paid social, and mobile app networks.
- Hands-on experience building paid subscription programs from scratch.
- Track record of scaling subscriber growth profitably against LTV and payback.
- Advanced analytical and measurement capabilities, including incrementality/lift testing, modeling, and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- 2+ years of paid acquisition experience for freemium consumer subscription apps.
- Experience growing subscriptions within an established, high-traffic product where subscription revenue is secondary.
Compensation and Benefits
- $178,500 USD annually.
