Senior Solutions Engineer
The Senior Solutions Engineer partners with enterprise customers and sales teams to demonstrate, architect, and implement Snowflake data and AI solutions. The role requires 10+ years in customer-facing technical pre-sales, strong data-stack expertise, hands-on SQL and Python skills, and confidence engaging technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Partner with account executives and cross-functional teams to drive the technical win across the sales cycle.
- Present Snowflake’s vision, platform, and value to technical and executive audiences.
- Demonstrate Snowflake’s value through discovery, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Guide customers on modern data architecture, solution design, and implementation across analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, performance, and governance.
- Translate customer business challenges into practical solution patterns that drive adoption and long-term value.
- Develop trusted relationships with architects, engineers, platform teams, and business stakeholders within strategic enterprise accounts.
- Maintain an understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and position Snowflake effectively.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products, messaging, and field effectiveness.
- Help customers stay current on product innovation, roadmap developments, and emerging use cases.
- Represent Snowflake at customer meetings, executive briefings, workshops, and industry events.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in customer-facing solutions engineering, sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical pre-sales.
- Strong competency across modern data stacks, including ETL/ELT, data warehouses, data lakes, analytics, and cloud-native data platforms.
- Experience working with enterprise customers in complex technical and stakeholder environments.
- Strong hands-on technical capability, including SQL and Python.
- Ability to connect customer technical and business challenges to practical solutions.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Confidence facilitating whiteboarding sessions, technical workshops, and solution discussions.
- Pragmatic, collaborative, hands-on approach to driving customer success.
- Strong relationship-building capability, professional presence, and ability to simplify technical concepts into structured business narratives.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AI and machine learning deployment workflows.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with large-scale database technologies and cloud data platforms.
- Background in enterprise SaaS and complex technical sales cycles.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
