Senior AI Engineer
Designs and ships production multi-agent compliance systems, including LLM pipelines, model training, evaluation, monitoring, and explainability. Requires 5+ years of applied AI/ML engineering experience, strong Python, and experience deploying production ML systems.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement multi-agent systems integrating foundational LLMs and custom-trained models for intelligent compliance workflows.
- Build and optimize AI/ML pipelines, including model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks.
- Create explainability and traceability mechanisms so compliance flags can be linked to rules, examples, or data assets.
- Automate translation of compliance rules into agent-ready logic paths.
- Design, train, and fine-tune models using user feedback and outcomes data.
- Build model evaluation and monitoring infrastructure for reliable, auditable customer deployments.
- Integrate AI features through APIs, data pipelines, and frontend systems.
- Collaborate with model training engineers and compliance users to develop feedback loops and agent workflows.
- Prototype and apply emerging AI/ML techniques.
Requirements
- 5+ years of applied ML/AI engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of agent-based architectures and orchestration frameworks.
- Strong Python skills and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
- LLM experience including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation.
- Background in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and training pipelines.
- Production ML experience with model serving, monitoring, A/B testing, and data pipelines.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Based in the Bay Area or New York and willing to work in the office three days per week.
Compensation and Benefits
- $150,000–$275,000 salary plus equity.
- Fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance.
