Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy end-to-end AI workflows and agents across business domains.
- Develop agent architectures, evaluation pipelines, and performance frameworks for reliability and measurable outcomes.
- Set technical standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and project scoping.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
- Lead technical projects from requirements through delivery and work with customers and internal stakeholders on technical plans.
- Identify gaps in tooling, frameworks, and processes and drive improvements.
- Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, and insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with Marketing, GTM, Recruiting, and Product teams to identify agent-driven automation opportunities.
- Contribute to the LangChain and LangGraph open-source ecosystem, including components, documentation, and shared tools.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, including building and deploying LLM-powered applications or agents in production.
- Experience leading technical projects end to end, mentoring engineers, and raising team technical quality.
- Hands-on experience implementing evaluation and monitoring systems for agents or workflows.
- Deep understanding of prompting, retrieval, orchestration, inference APIs, and multimodal model selection.
- Strong Python or TypeScript skills; ideally both.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Based in or willing to relocate to New York, NY.

- Expertise with LangChain or LangGraph.
- Experience building or maintaining open-source projects.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range: $160,000–$200,000.
