About the role
Key Responsibilities
Own NODA's annual Defense and Federal event portfolio, including flagship conferences, government industry days, military exercises, international exhibitions, hosted customer engagements, executive events, partner activities, and technology demonstrations.
Develop annual event strategies, budgets, sponsorships, memberships, and speaking engagements that maximize business development impact and return on investment.
Partner closely with Business Development and Capture leadership to align event investments and executive engagements with strategic pursuits and pipeline development.
Develop and execute integrated event marketing campaigns across paid, owned, earned, and shared channels, including digital, email, webinars, social, PR, and executive communications.
Plan and execute executive roundtables, customer receptions, networking events, partner events, and invitation-only engagements that strengthen customer relationships and generate qualified opportunities.
Lead all phases of event execution, from planning and logistics through onsite management, post-event evaluation, and after-action review.
Manage exhibit strategy, booth design, logistics, and onsite operations to ensure a professional, mission-focused brand presence.
Design engaging event experiences that showcase NODA's technology through robotics demonstrations, autonomous system activations, and interactive exhibits.
Manage event vendors, exhibit houses, sponsorships, venues, and registration platforms to ensure high-quality, cost-effective execution.
Define success metrics for every event and measure attendance, engagement, executive meetings, pipeline contribution, and return on investment.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of progressive experience in Defense or Federal event marketing, field marketing, experiential marketing, and exhibiting.
Demonstrated experience supporting a Defense technology company, Government contracting, military, aerospace organization, or similarly technical B2G organization.
Strong understanding of the Defense Industrial Base, Federal acquisition ecosystem, and long-cycle business development lifecycles.
Demonstrated experience owning an annual portfolio of Defense and military field events across the full event lifecycle, from planning through post-event ROI analysis.
Knowledge of Partner Marketing strategies across in-person and digital experiences, including exhibits, social media, and webinars.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated event marketing campaigns across paid, owned, earned, and shared channels driving interest in software products.
Demonstrated experience partnering with Business Development, Capture, Executive Leadership, Product, and Engineering to support strategic pursuits and pipeline development.
Portfolio of in person exhibits and digital event marketing tactics.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or a related discipline.
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience designing immersive event experiences involving robotics, autonomous systems, or other advanced technologies, including software and hardware.
Familiarity with autonomous systems, AI, mission software, command and control, military operations, or other advanced Defense technologies.
Fluency in U.S. military customs, courtesies, rank structure, and executive engagement protocol.
Experience translating American event exhibits for international audiences, including shipping and logistics, storage, contracting, and local regulations/customs.
Experience within a venture-backed startup or rapidly scaling technology company.
Experience with event management software, CRM, registration, and marketing automation platforms.
Active U.S. security clearance.
