Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, reliable full-stack features and services across backend and frontend systems.
- Lead technical design discussions for medium-to-large features and drive sound architectural decisions.
- Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers in an agile environment to scope, plan, and deliver work.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards for performant, maintainable code.
- Mentor associate and mid-level engineers on technical best practices and career growth.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and security concerns.
- Own features end to end, from design and development through deployment and operational support.
- Identify and help prioritize technical debt.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of hands-on software engineering experience across backend and frontend technologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong algorithmic and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of system design and common architectural patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and DevOps workflows.
- Experience implementing services with Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and working with data at scale.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with state management and frontend performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with ES2015+, TypeScript, Webpack, Jest, Tailwind, and test-driven development.
- Experience building responsive, accessible, and visually polished user interfaces.
