Responsibilities
Build new pipeline and drive revenue within assigned territory
Deeply understand customers' business challenges and position Hex as the solution
Partner with Sales Engineering to run discovery, demos, POCs, and technical reviews
Manage the sales-cycle including lead generation, qualification, and closing deals while meeting/exceeding sales goals
Provide input to engineering, product management, and marketing
Create and deliver accurate forecasts
Requirements
Proven track record selling technical software in data, DS/ML, or analytics space
Understand and teach complex technical concepts
Speak confidently about challenges data practitioners face
Passionate/curious about data & analytics space
Manage large, complex deal cycles with multiple stakeholders
Willing to learn basic SQL
Enthusiasm for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
Closes high-value enterprise deals (ACVs $100K+) in a full-cycle sales role with 50/50 inbound/outbound focus at a high-growth sales-tech startup. Requires 5+ years closing experience, including 2+ in enterprise, with ability to source deals and build playbooks.
