Software Engineer, Client Experience Frameworks

Build and evolve a framework-agnostic UI platform, including accessible component libraries, developer tooling, and design-system adoption across product teams. The role requires frontend experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, a modern UI framework, web standards, and build tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain framework-agnostic UI components for product teams using multiple frontend technologies.
  • Support adoption of the design system across the product engineering organization, including integration and migration.
  • Improve developer experience through build tooling, testing infrastructure, documentation, and automation.
  • Write declarative, well-tested, accessible component code with a focus on maintainability.
  • Work across multiple frontend frameworks and deepen understanding of web standards.
  • Participate in design reviews focused on component architecture, API design, and consistency.
  • Champion performance, accessibility, and web standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience; internships count.
  • Strong TypeScript or JavaScript fundamentals.
  • Experience with at least one modern UI framework, such as React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, or Ember.
  • Familiarity with the DOM, browser APIs, and component rendering and updating.
  • Exposure to build tools and bundlers such as Webpack or Vite.
  • Ability to write clean, generic, reusable code.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

  • New York, Colorado, and California base salary range: $134,000–$168,000.
  • Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, and benefits.
