Solution Engineer / Technical Specialist
Own technical pre-sales success for Resilio's data synchronization platform, leading POCs, demos, and deployments for enterprise customers across hybrid and edge environments. Requires 7-9 years in sales/solutions engineering with strong distributed systems and networking expertise.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery conversations to understand customer data architecture, workflows, and constraints
- Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) using Resilio technology
- Guide customers through installation, configuration, and deployment in hybrid and cloud environments
- Advise on best practices for distributed data synchronization, network and storage architecture, performance optimization and scalability
- Partner with Account Executives to progress deals and remove technical blockers
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales
- Use scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and automation tools to accelerate deployments and troubleshooting
- Apply AI-assisted tools (where appropriate) to improve demo preparation, troubleshooting efficiency, and customer insights
- Represent Nasuni and the Resilio platform at customer meetings, events, and technical workshops
- Contribute to technical documentation, enablement content, and reusable demo assets
Requirements
- 7–9+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or customer-facing technical roles
- Hands-on experience deploying and supporting distributed systems, storage, or data infrastructure solutions
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPNs, subnets, firewalls) and storage systems and performance considerations
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Ability to independently run technical demos, POCs, and customer deployments
- Experience using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, CLI tools) for troubleshooting or automation
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
- 3–5+ years in customer-facing (Sales Engineering or similar) roles
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple concurrent customer engagements
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with data replication, synchronization, or edge data technologies
- Familiarity with Azure infrastructure and automation services
- Experience supporting enterprise or mid-market customers in pre-sales cycles
- Exposure to AI-assisted tools for workflow efficiency
- Experience in high-performance data transfer or real-time data orchestration platforms
- Background in hybrid cloud or edge computing architectures
- Proven track record influencing technical wins in complex sales cycles
- Experience creating reusable demo environments or automation frameworks
