GTM Strategist - New Verticals

Execution-focused GTM strategist who will launch new products and verticals, validate positioning through customer conversations, and turn successful experiments into repeatable sales motions. Requires 3+ years in B2B technology and strong customer-facing, systems-building, and go-to-market judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Turn new product and vertical ideas into customer-testable hypotheses.
  • Partner with sales representatives to test positioning, messaging, packaging, and pricing.
  • Join early customer conversations and sales calls to validate demand and identify resonant messaging.
  • Identify patterns in customer feedback and provide actionable input to Product.
  • Convert successful experiments into repeatable sales motions and guidance for the broader team.
  • Partner with Product and the GM of New Verticals to refine products and go-to-market approaches.
  • Clarify customer problems, shape sales conversations, and test offering positioning.
  • Build training, talk tracks, playbooks, and processes for selling new products.
  • Become a subject-matter expert on new products and help representatives explain and position them.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B technology across GTM strategy, product marketing, sales enablement, solutions consulting, early-stage operations, founding, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Experience operating in zero-to-one environments without an established playbook.
  • Ability to learn from customer and market feedback, identify patterns, and formulate actionable hypotheses.
  • Ability to support live customer and prospect conversations about evolving products, use cases, and solutions.
  • Ability to turn experiments, recurring questions, and objections into practical guidance.
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to make successful processes repeatable.
  • High agency and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

  • Founder experience or experience as one of the first go-to-market hires at an early-stage company.
  • Experience with marketing technology or selling to Marketing.
  • Understanding of SEO and its evolution into answer engine optimization (AEO) for AI search.
  • Strong understanding of the marketing funnel, from demand creation through conversion, pipeline, and closed-won revenue.

Compensation and Benefits
