Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, assisting with the integration of Illumio into their environments.
  • Manage deployments and upgrades of the Illumio platform, coordinating timelines and required resources.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on change preparation for Illumio deployments.
  • Develop Illumio-specific API scripts to enhance service deployment, monitoring, and management.
  • Provide best practices, documentation, and recommendations for optimizing Illumio usage.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation throughout engagements.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Illumio deployments, addressing anomalies and performance issues.
  • Serve as the primary interface between client teams and Illumio product and support teams.
  • Provide metrics and reporting on deployment effectiveness.
  • Support internal teams with integration documentation and security ruleset and policy development.
  • Facilitate testing and validation of the Illumio platform for client service teams.
  • Conduct knowledge-transfer and training sessions for client teams.
  • Complete administrative documentation, including timesheets and weekly reports.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of consulting or advisory experience.
  • Strong experience with Linux, preferably CentOS or Red Hat, and Windows Server.
  • Experience with cloud computing service provider models, including AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
  • Experience with container platform architecture, such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Experience with automation and scripting tools, such as Bash, Python, Ruby, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
  • Expertise in networking concepts, including network flows, protocols, and application security controls.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues in unfamiliar technology environments.
  • Ability to work with evolving technology and quickly adapt to new tools.
  • Client-facing skills, including conflict resolution and project management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Broad understanding of IT infrastructure.
  • Willingness to travel to headquarters in Silicon Valley for product training and knowledge development.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate new product knowledge and apply it effectively in customer environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within the Professional Services team of a security vendor.
  • Prior Illumio experience is not required; training will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary range: £75,000–£90,000.
