Cost Revenue Analyst
Own end-to-end cost-of-revenue analysis for Vapi's voice AI platform. Build unit economics models, analyze cloud/infrastructure costs, partner with Engineering on optimizations, and forecast COGS/gross margins for leadership. Requires 4-8 years in FP&A or cost analysis with strong modeling skills.

Responsibilities
- Track and analyze COGS / cost of revenue and gross margin to understand current margin profiles.
- Analyze cloud / infrastructure / inference / telephony costs to identify trends, outliers, and areas for investigation.
- Build cost-per-minute and cost-per-call models and unit economics linking infrastructure consumption to revenue-generating activity.
- Partner with Engineering on infrastructure cost optimization based on data models.
- Forecast COGS in the operating plan using historical data and efficiency learnings.
- Support gross margin reporting and variance analysis for leadership, explaining drivers of variance.
Requirements
- 4–8 years in FP&A or cost / financial analysis.
- Comfort with unit economics and analyzing cloud / infrastructure costs.
- Strong Excel / financial modeling skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Comfort working cross-functionally.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience at an infrastructure-heavy or usage-based company.
- Familiarity with cloud cost tooling and data / BI tools.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $165,000 - $185,000
