Staff Business Systems Analyst
Senior business systems analyst connecting business strategy, process design, enterprise applications, data, controls, and technology delivery across corporate functions. The role leads discovery, requirements, solution design, validation, transformation, and stakeholder alignment in a hybrid Bay Area environment.

Responsibilities
- Partner with functional leaders on executive roadmaps, business cases, intake, prioritization, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead current-state and future-state process mapping, root-cause analysis, and gap assessments across Finance, Supply Chain and Distribution Center Operations, People, Legal, and emerging business areas.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, process and data flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, product specifications, and sprint-ready backlog items.
- Develop functional expertise in ERP and other enterprise platforms, integrations, reporting, controls, and downstream data dependencies.
- Facilitate solution design with Architecture and Engineering, evaluate tradeoffs, drive decisions, and ensure scalability and enterprise alignment.
- Lead requirements traceability, functional validation, UAT, defect triage, release readiness, training, and adoption.
- Embed compliance, segregation of duties, auditability, security, data quality, and operational controls into designs.
- Analyze production issues and process KPIs, define improvements, and coordinate handoffs to Engineering and Production Support.
- Support vendor evaluations, solution selection, implementation, and post-launch stabilization.
- Identify workflow automation and AI-enabled opportunities while maintaining controls and business ownership.
- Establish reusable business-analysis standards and coach peers.
Requirements
- Senior experience in business systems analysis, business process, product, program, or comparable enterprise-systems roles.
- Experience leading end-to-end business transformations spanning process, technology, data, controls, and change adoption.
- Functional depth in one or more enterprise domains such as Finance, Supply Chain and Distribution Center Operations, People, or Legal.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and adjacent enterprise applications, integrations, analytics, reporting, and workflow automation.
- Strong business-analysis skills, including process modeling, requirements elicitation, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT, and release readiness.
- Technical fluency for collaboration with architects, engineers, integration teams, data teams, and vendors.
- Experience with SOX, compliance, controls, governance, and audit requirements in public-company environments.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, resolve ambiguity, drive decisions without formal authority, and work in a fast-scaling environment.
- Ability to maintain a hybrid presence in the Bay Area.
