Growth Marketing Lead

Leads growth and product marketing for Aftersell, shaping narrative-first positioning, customer-impact stories, competitive strategy, and revenue-team enablement. The role requires strong communication, analytical rigor, and hands-on experience driving growth in SaaS or ecommerce.

Responsibilities

  • Develop narrative-first positioning that leads with merchant pain and positions Aftersell as the solution.
  • Own strategic writing and copy across the funnel, using customer data and rigorous ROI methodologies to demonstrate impact.
  • Enable Sales and Customer Success teams with collateral informed by win/loss data and real customer objections.
  • Maintain market and competitive intelligence across the ecommerce landscape, including Klaviyo and Attentive.
  • Orchestrate internal resources and external talent to deliver flawless, data-driven growth initiatives.
  • Build distinct messaging for buyers such as CMOs and CFOs versus users in Growth and CX Operations.

Requirements

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive growth and manage multiple workstreams in high-velocity SaaS or ecommerce environments.
  • Deep product marketing expertise, including category creation and category capture strategies.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to develop impact stories that withstand scrutiny.
  • Willingness to work from the Toronto hub four days per week for in-person collaboration.

Compensation

  • Total compensation: $171,000–$228,000.
  • Fixed annual salary: $150,000–$188,000.
