Own enterprise sales across new business, expansion, and renewals for a technical data platform, managing complex evaluations, security and procurement processes, and usage-based commercial models. Requires 6+ years selling technical infrastructure to enterprise buyers.

Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for new and existing enterprise accounts, from initial conversation through security review, procurement, and close.
- Drive new business, expansion, renewals, and consumption commitments for cloud and multi-year agreements.
- Build pipeline in new accounts, including teams using ClickHouse through open source or self-serve cloud adoption.
- Expand existing accounts by landing new teams and use cases and mapping additional opportunities.
- Monitor usage and consumption trends, identifying churn risk and expansion opportunities early.
- Multi-thread relationships across data platform teams, budget owners, security, procurement, executive sponsors, and champions.
- Partner with Solutions Architects on technical evaluations while owning commercial strategy and the close.
- Manage security questionnaires, legal redlines, vendor onboarding, and BYOC or private-deployment requirements.
- Develop internal business cases covering total cost of ownership, migration plans, and risk mitigation.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records and provide reliable forecasts for new business and expansion.
- Participate in developer meetups, conferences, and territory events.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience selling technical infrastructure to enterprise buyers, such as databases, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, observability, or developer tools.
- Proven success closing complex deals involving security review, legal, and procurement.
- Technical fluency sufficient to conduct architecture conversations and explain infrastructure or workload migrations.
- Experience carrying a hybrid quota covering new business, expansion, and renewals.
- Experience with consumption-based or usage-metered commercial models.
- Experience selling through both developer-led, bottom-up adoption and top-down enterprise sales.
- Ability to orchestrate cross-functional contributors without direct authority, including Solutions Architects, executives, partners, and product managers.
- Accurate sales forecasting and strong CRM discipline.
