Responsibilities
- Define financial-services go-to-market strategy and coverage design, including segmentation, territories, account prioritization, and vertical value propositions.
- Recruit, coach, and retain Enterprise and Strategic Account Executives.
- Develop repeatable use cases, proof points, reference stories, and sales motions for financial-services verticals.
- Engage C-suite executives on priority pursuits and navigate procurement, security, model-risk, and legal processes through production deployment and expansion.
- Own revenue targets, forecasting, deal inspection, pipeline generation, and account-planning cadences.
- Partner with Applied AI, Solutions Architecture, Product, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, Legal, and cloud partners.
- Represent the company with customers and at industry events.
Requirements
- Experience leading enterprise sales teams selling technical, complex products such as API-first platforms, cloud infrastructure, or data and machine-learning platforms.
- Track record of winning and expanding enterprise customers in financial services.
- Experience designing enterprise sales coverage, segmentation, territories, and account prioritization.
- Strong operational discipline across high-volume pipelines and complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Credibility with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and Heads of AI/ML; experience partnering with solutions architects and applied AI teams.
- Strong coaching and executive engagement skills.
- Interest in deploying AI responsibly.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience leading other sales leaders or readiness for second-line management.
- Experience building or scaling verticalized or multi-segment sales organizations.
- Experience selling generative AI, LLM-based products, or emerging platform technologies to large financial institutions.
- Familiarity with model-risk management, regulatory and compliance procurement, security reviews, and financial-institution governance.
- Experience selling with AWS, Google Cloud, or global systems integrators.
- Familiarity with consumption-based commercial models and value-based pricing.
- Experience leading organizations through rapid growth, re-segmentation, or significant change.
Compensation
- Annual on-target earnings: $450,000–$550,000 USD, including base salary and target sales commissions or bonuses.
